Kudos to David Gans and all the great work he has contributed to KPFA (Berkeley Listener Supported Radio).

I recall the fall of 1988 when he founded the Grateful Dead Hour weekly broadcast which eventually earned national distribution inspiring many similar GD Taper driven broadcast's across America.

David is also a talented performer, singer, songwriter and has hosted many good interview's over the years from a musician's perspective.

You can stream the Grateful Dead Marathon on Saturday February 19th from 9 am to 1 am PST @ the Dead.net link provided.

Charlie Miller is a contributor to David's music selection this weekend.
